Heritage Hardwood Conservatories is to sponsor a concert featuring Catrin Finch and harp-led Colombian band, Cimarron, at Galeri in Caernarfon on Friday. Heritage has donated £2,200 toward the cost of this latest concert. Commenting about his comapny's decision to sponsor the concert, MD, Ken Grayson, a well known supporter of the arts, said : "I've always been fascinated by harp music and Catrin Finch is one of my heroines. I've also heard some of Cimarron's music, which I thought was fantastic and I decided that this was one event Heritage Hardwood Conservatories just had to support."
The concert, featuring Catrin Finch, regarded as one of the worlds' leading harpists and seven piece band Cimarron, who explore and experiment with the traditional music of their homeland, which premieres in Galeri, Caernarfon on Friday 16 November, has been described as one of the cultural highlights of 2007 in Wales.
Thanking Heritage Hardwood Conservatories for its sponsorship, Gwyn Roberts, Chief Executive said: " We are extremely grateful to Heritage for supporting this event, which is certainly one of the highlights of the season here at Galeri. It is always good to see local businesses supporting the arts and without their support, we would not be able to provide such a broad and extensive programme."
The concert is also supported by the Welsh Assembly Government and the Arts Council for Wales through the Arts Outside Cardiff Fund.
