Twenty years service earns Dyfed a holiday at the destination of his dreams

A man who's celebrating 20 years unbroken service with an Anglesey company this week (April 25th) is being rewarded with a free holiday for him and his wife, paid for by his employer as a reward for his loyalty and service.

Dyfed Williams from Llanddaniel, an installer with Gaerwen-based Peninsula Home Improvements, was flabbergasted when boss, Ken Grayson, approached him and offered him an all-expenses-paid weekend break in Riga, Estonia coupled with a letter of appreciation thanking him for his excellent quality of work over the period.  The destination was selected after secret consultation with his wife Barbara, to reward him for the massive contribution he’s made to the company’s success over the years.

Both Dyfed and his wife will fly out there next week armed with 400 Euros spending money also provided by Peninsula.

Thanking Dyfed for his loyal service, Peninsula MD, Ken Grayson, said: “Dyfed has been an invaluable asset to the company for the last 20 years.  Not only because of his installation skills but also because he is a brilliant and patient teacher who has over the years passed on his skills to other younger team members.  This is our way of showing our appreciation for his contribution to the success of the company.”

Commenting about the gesture, Dyfed said: “I'm really looking forward to the holiday and sharing my experiences with my colleagues when I get back”
