Seindorf Beaumaris Youth Band thank Peninsula for their support

As a thank you to Peninsula and everyone for their generous support in enabling Seindorf Beaumaris Band’s Youth Band to represent Wales in the European Brass Band Championships in Utrecht, Netherlands on Sunday 6 May, the Band held an Open Rehearsal at the Canolfan in Beaumaris yesterday.
Ken Grayson, our CEO, went along; “This is a massive achievement for the Youth Band to get through to these championships and if their concert last night was anything to go by they will not only do the town and Anglesey, but also their country proud at the competition, and I wish them all every success.”
Peninsula Home Improvements has donated £1,700 to the Youth Band which will cover the travel costs for the 49 band members and their instruments to the Netherlands.
The European Brass Band Championships is organised by the European Brass Band Association. It is the world’s most prestigious brass band competition, and Seindorf Beaumaris Youth Band will be the only Youth Band from Wales competing.
