Solarlux SDL Acubis Flat Canopy
Here at Peninsula Home Improvements we are proud to be an Active Partner with Solarlux and their high-quality products. Solarlux was founded in 1983 and are based in Bissendorf, Lower Saxony. They are largely considered to be the market leader for folding glass doors and glass elements. Below is a brand new canopy development from Solarlux, that brings an incredible amount of style and elegance to your home.
NEW: The SDL Acubis Flat Canopy
The latest patio canopy development from Solarlux is a winner in terms of design and functionality, making it the perfect choice for cubic structures.
Filigree profiles, maximum transparency: with the latest SDL Acubis flat canopy, Solarlux has added yet another solution for sheltering your home patio to its portfolio. What makes the SDL Acubis special is that it can be either connected to your house’s existing architecture or set up as a stand-alone unit in your garden. The SDL Acubis can also be easily transformed into a glass house by simply adding versatile, vertical glass elements. A comprehensive range of accessories is also available, including shade elements and lighting.
The internal structural elements of the non-insulated aluminium profile system lend the canopy a breezy elegance. The 2° roof pitch is barely visible to the naked eye, but is enough to ensure that water drains off the canopy perfectly. In addition to this, a flat, single-piece wall joint is available for a simple look. The SDL Acubis is available as a monopitch or pitched roof.
Solarlux Patio Canopies
Solarlux patio canopies are the perfect fit for any house architecture.
But the differences don’t end with their appearance; they can also serve a range of purposes. A simple patio canopy, for instance, is a good place to shelter under on rainy days. Yet if you add vertical, sliding glass elements, it becomes a glass house that will protect you against all types of wind and weather. Solarlux’s bespoke solutions are also impressive in terms of their design: the canopies, shade features and vertical elements are conceived precisely to work in perfect harmony with one another, right down to the smallest detail. This means that you won’t need to rely on a customised design or products made by other manufacturers.
