We were tasked with replacing a tired old, yellowing PVC door and window with a modern, sleek, thermally efficient and stylish replacement door. The clients decided to opt for a 'Milano' composite door from the Italia collection from Solidor.
We were commissioned to help restore this beautiful property here on Anglesey. The house was completely gutted inside and out. We were to replace the original wooden windows with our revolutionary Residence 9, flush sash timber alternative windows. White woodgrain foiled throughout, high performance glazing with traditional features a must were the obvious choice here. By combining fantastic looks, traditional character and superb performance the results were exactly as both ourselves and the client had envisaged. A triumph all round.
Our objective here was to take down an old conservatory and extend the building groundworks for a much bigger, more modern, thermally efficent structure. The brief was for space, light and modern, comfortable living. For this, we expanded the conservatory to encapsulate the whole rear side of the property giving the clients a much larger space. To give the build a more modern, contemporary feel we also installed a 'Liv-in' feature, which is the best of both worlds, combining the light and sky of a conservatory with the walls and ceiling of an extension.
We were commissioned to replace an existing conservatory and build an extension which covered the entire rear of the house. This included an aluminium folding, sliding door with integral blinds as well as a vaulted solid conservatory roofing system, revolutionary in both its design and appearance.
